IAAPA or the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions is holding the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit in Bali for two days, March 7-8 2024.
Apart from gathering and sharing experiences with attractions industry professionals from all over Asia Pacific, IAAPA APAC Spring Summit participants also had the opportunity to visit various recreational parks in Bali. One of the recreational parks that was the final visit was the Trans Studio Bali theme park.
The largest indoor theme park in Bali invites participants to try the Flying Over Indonesia ride. Flying Over Indonesia or FOI is predicted to be the first flying theater in Indonesia and the largest in Southeast Asia. At FOI, participants will be taken to play virtual paragliding around Indonesia to enjoy the rich nature and various tourist attractions in Indonesia such as Borobudur Temple, Lake Kalimutu, Mount Bromo, Raja Ampat, Tanah Lot, and many more.
Juanito Alfa, Head of Marketing at Trans Studio Bali theme park said that his party was very proud to be able to introduce Flying Over Indonesia through the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit. "This is certainly a golden opportunity for us as one of the largest recreation and tourism industry stakeholders in Bali. "The IAAPA APAC Spring Summit is an opportunity to introduce world-class rides at the Trans Studio Bali theme park, especially Flying Over Indonesia, as well as share memorable experiences with them that theme parks in Bali are certainly no less interesting than outdoor theme parks," said Juanito.
This is also in line with what was conveyed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mr. Sandiaga Uno when opening the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit, where he said that this activity was an extraordinary platform for exchanging ideas and establishing new partnerships in developing the attractions industry.
When met at Trans Studio Bali, the participants admitted that this was the first time they had tried the Flying Over Indonesia flying theater and hoped to be able to visit this attraction again when they went to Bali. Apart from trying Flying Over Indonesia, participants also had the opportunity to play Boomerang Coaster, which is a roller coaster on top of a building that moves forward and then backward at super fast speed. After playing, participants were given souvenirs as a memento of their fun playing at Trans Studio Bali, which also marked the end of the IAAPA APAC Spring Summit in Bali.
